Chickamauga Battlefield Bike Trip
This is a beautiful easy biking trip. The trail weaves through a shady park dotted with historic monuments. It is a 9 mile bike trip on a paved road with short hiking trails spoking off from it.
Jeff, Janet Faist's son,  has arranged for a ranger to accompany our group and give a private 2 hour guided tour on bikes. This ranger will talk about the historic Civil War battle fought in this famous park. We can continue biking around the park by ourselves until we get hungry.
After our bike trip, we will eat at a local restaurant at the park entrance for some country cooking.
After eating, we can drive 15 minutes to do a short hike at Lookout Mountain.

We will meet at the Marathon gas station in Blue Ridge at 515 and 60 at 8 am. Eat a hearty breakfast and bring some snacks and water. And a bike!
