Mulkey Gap Ramble in the Coopers Creek Management Area.   Approx. 4 + miles round trip.  Beginning at Mulky Gap  walking on an abandoned road, forestry service road # 39  to the White family cemetery and return.

Andrews Cove to Tray Mountain.  9 mile in and out hike (≈ 4:30 hrs), 2,500 ft. elevation gain.  Hike the Andrews Cove trail and the AT. 360 degree view from the summit.  No shuttle.

Yonah Mountain near Cleveland, GA. A 5 mile moderately strenuous round trip with 1,700 feet

elevation gain. Trail is a combination of moderate and some steep and rocky sections. Stunning

Chunky Gal from the AT to Glade Gap.   7 miles strenuous hiking starting at Deep Gap.  From Deep Gap we will hike on the old AT to the start of Chunky Gal and then down to Glade Gap.  Shuttle.

Big Frog Mt. – Via Big Frog and Wolf Ridge trails Summit up Big Frog TR (2k elevation gain) then
down the southwest side on Wolf Ridge with beautiful views for a 10 mile hike with short shuttle.

Panther Creek Falls Trail.   A 7 mile round trip hike along beautiful Panther Creek to a spectacular waterfall off Hwy 441 south of Clayton. Some very difficult footings due to erosion so

wear good hiking shoes and bring poles. Rare spring wildflowers.

Eagle Mountain, near Hiawassee. 9 mile loop with some steep climbing.  About 4:30 hrs.  Come

climb the mountain that along with Bell Mountain dominates the skyline from Hiawassee and

Hayesville. Up close views of Bell Mountain, pass old hunter’s cabin and great views of Lake Chatuge.

Hike Inn, A.T. Connecting, and Appalachian Approach Trails. This is a 10.2-mile loop hike starting out atop Amicalola Falls, taking the pleasant Hike Inn Trail to the Hike Inn, then continuing a mile on the connector trail to the Appalachian Approach Trail, the latter upon which we will return full circle back to our vehicles parked near the top of the falls. Being on this portion of the A.T. Approach Trail may give you a chance to reevaluate the incompetent who laid out much of the Duncan Ridge Trail!

Tate City to Standing Indian.  Return via AT and trail from Deep Gap.  Hike will follow Beech Gap Trail to Case Knife Gap, then UP to the AT just north of Standing Indian summit, then south on AT to Deep Gap, then down road back to our cars.  Approx 10 miles.

Trails of the Ocoee River:  7+ mi. hike, starting at Thunder Rock Campground. Climb the moderate BMT trail over to the Ocoee WW Center and down the Rhododendron Trail to the parking lot. The rhododendron should be in full bloom!
