Long Creek Falls in the Three Forks Area of the A.T. From the falls, we will continue up the AT to an old cemetery (Hickory Flats) and hike until we hit approx. 3 miles, making a round trip of 6 miles. This is a gorgeous drive and hike deep in the forest of Fannin County.

Summer Waterfalls Hike.  We’ll hike first to 250 ft. Dukes Creek Falls for an easy 2.2 miles. Then on to Raven Cliff Falls where we’ll have lunch at the base of the cliffs. A total of 7.2 delightful miles.

Cooper Creek Sampler - Begin at the Cooper Creek Parking Area and hike the 1.7 mile Eye on Wildlife trail back to Parking Lot. From there we will continue hiking over to the Yellow Mountain Trail to Shope Gap Trail and back to Parking Lot for another 3.2 mile hike. If we have time, we'll go over to Sea Creek Falls. This is a very scenic area around Coopers Creek and features easy to moderate hiking.

New hike: Tobacco Pouch to Wildcat Campground in Jasper. This is a 5.1 adventure hike with a steep climb at the beginning (3.5 hrs), High water stream crossings with ropes and a shuttle. The payoff?  A beautiful waterfall and pretty terrain along Wildcat Creek. Good hiking/ water shoes and poles recommended.

Wagon Train Trail from Brasstown Bald parking. Timed hike. We will carpool to parking area at the Brasstown Bald Parking Lot. ( Fee area, Bring your Senior Pass). Then walk up sidewalk a short distance to the beginning of the Wagon Trail. We will hike down toward Young Harris College. After hiking 1 1/2 hours, we will find a lunch/ snack area and eat. After break, we will head back towards the Bald. Based on AVERAGE hiking time of 2 mph, it should be about 6 miles, round trip., give or take. Some easy climbing, although it is rocky in many spots. Poles and sturdy shoes highly suggested.

Andrews Cove to Tray Mountain.  9 mile in and out hike (≈ 4:30 hrs), 2,500 ft. elevation gain.  Hike the Andrews Cove trail to Indian Grave Gap l and then the AT to Tray Mtn.  Return the same way..
