Before hiking with the  Mountain High Hikers, please carefully read the Hiking Guidelines on this  website and come to the hikes prepared with water, food, first aid items, rain  gear, proper clothing and shoes, hiking sticks, and a small pack to carry your  supplies.  Every hike leader has the authority to ask you to not hike with  the group if you are unprepared.  During deer hunting season (approx. Oct.  10th to Jan. 15th), wear bright colors (such as an orange hat or vest) so you are visible to the  hunters.

A = up to 3 miles                                   1 = easy             

B =  3-6 miles                                          2 = average 

C =  6-8 miles                                          3 = moderate

D =  8-10 miles                                       4 = strenuous 

E =  over 10 miles                                  5 = very strenuous
